Overview
The existing 4-level national curriculum was dated and assumed all learners had access to large rural plots, excluding urban and suburban youth.

Design Solution
- Restructured learning objectives across Grades 3–12 and developed a dedicated Helper’s Guide.
- Added hands-on units on square-foot, patio, and container gardening, and updated project exhibits to represent produce consumed by diverse cultural populations.
Outcome & Impact
Expanded national accessibility and inclusivity across urban and non-traditional youth programs, with the completed 6-piece series distributed nationally via the 4-H Mall.
